Hi!
My name is Almir Paulo. I am a translator of English and Spanish to Portuguese (I'm also a transcriber and proofreader). I am Brazilian, therefore a Portuguese native speaker! In college I focused most of my time studying philosophy of science, mainly the relation between metaphysics and science. As you can see, a real nerd. So, as any other nerd, I'm also interested on Geek/Pop culture subjects like:

- Comics
- Anime
- RPG
- Games
- etc
So if you need a translator for academic, philosophic or classic text I am the perfect choice. Of course if your translation is something for other similar field (social sciences, spirituality, psychology, history, etc) I'm still a good choice. I'm also your man if you need to translate your game, web app, comics, RPG, etc.

The great variety of Taste, as well as of opinion, which prevails in the world, is too obvious not to have fallen under every one’s observation. Men of the most confined knowledge are able to remark a difference of taste in the narrow circle of their acquaintance, even where the persons have been educated under the same government, and have early imbibed the same prejudices. But those, who can enlarge their view to contemplate distant nations and remote ages, are still more surprised at the great inconsistence and contrariety. We are apt to call barbarous whatever departs widely from our own taste and apprehension; but soon find the epithet of reproach retorted on us.
A grande variedade de gostos, bem como de opinião, que prevalece no mundo, é óbvia demais para não ter caído sob a observação de cada um. Os homens do mais limitado conhecimento são capazes de notar uma diferença de gosto no círculo estreito de sua familiaridade, mesmo quando as pessoas foram educadas sob a mesma tutela, e desde cedo absorveram os mesmos preconceitos. Mas aqueles, que podem ampliar sua visão para contemplar nações distantes e eras remotas, estão ainda mais surpresos com a grande inconsistência e contrariedade. Estamos aptos a chamar de Bárbaro tudo o que se afasta amplamente de nosso próprio gosto e apreensão; mas logo encontramos o epíteto de reprovação voltado sobre nós.
